It’s not modern enough, meaning it isn’t an installation or a multimedia hi-tech product. I’m still using the brush and acrylic colors, but I’m not painting on canvas, but on other plastic-based materials -so it isn’t a classical manner either. That’s true; sometimes I’m using my fingers to paint. So, the way of painting. Some people can call it scandalous... and not because you can see naked humans in there, but because it is that simple, they assume everybody can do that. So, why is this called art?! Well, the answer is: yes, I am the first one to hope, at least, that every human being should be able to express their inner selves through colors, through painting. I believe it’s a very basic expression form. This is why I strongly believe that an art form should be able to communicate something to each of us, on matter how educated (or not) we are. I don’t use to expose my works that much. May be because first of all I paint for myself. But when I do come out and expose my paintings to the public, I don’t intend to educate, impress or show off in any way. If the viewers can feel something in there that speaks also for them, if they can see themselves through my works, it means I’ve reached my goal. It isn’t important if they would feel the same I did when I’ve created it. The shapes I’m using are very organic. Sometimes, you can recognize a hand, or an eye... or even a dragon! But most of the time, they are more like movements, like stolen passwords of another language. They wouldn’t even exist, if the color weren’t invented yet! Because the color was first. The colors I’m using always had a specific meaning for me. Nothing esoteric, though, in this meaning! Red is for me, myself. Red is passion, but also flesh and blood. Red is the fire, and so is love. It can be an animal, too! Depending of the red... Very important, though: red is the most spontaneous one! May be even irreverent, sometimes... like he is having his own life there, inside of my painting. But red won’t be himself, without a green besides him. Green, as grass is. Like the plants and the leafs in a tree. Green stands for the other form of life on this planet. Much pure and somehow, not guilty... After all, a plant can get much closer to the sky than we could, and doing that without leaving the Earth! But of course, even the vegetal life can rot! Than, it became dark green. Or brown, when it’s already transformed into ground. The connection with the ground is important, because we’ve came from there, one way or another. A special place is taken by the white color. Some people could say (and they are right, somehow) that white isn’t a color! It’s more like a state of mind. May be the spirit itself! White... Is the air at the horizon, the snow, the Christmas Night... It is the color of the silence and breathing; it is the color that aloud all the other color to exist by giving them birth. A rainbow is, after all, the light in labor through a cloud. And when the light gets higher or deeper, as the sky or the ocean, it becomes blue. Blue is God.
