2005-11-11  |     |

I listen and yet there is nothing I hear when my soul takes its umbrella and walks out into the pouring rain. After a while it stops and goes into a phone booth and dials 911.

“Hello! This is an emergency! I am wet to my bones”
“Ok, sir! Where are you?”
“What do you mean? I am inside.”
“Inside where, sir?”

My soul hangs up and returns to put its feet into the raindrops. It’s so dark and there is no other soul on the streets! “Maybe I should get a drink, a whisky on the rocks or something and then go home and get some sleep. It’s been such a long time since I could sleep. I loved and lost and then I hated and got tired and I loved again and I lost and then I hated you and I lost and then I felt remorse cause you lost me. So stupid! So easy! So you! Forget about the drink! I got to get home and close my eyes and dream of no one but my own light. I am not even sure I have that anymore! I need that whisky after all to gain the power and feel again like a soul. Damn it! I need to go back! She is waiting for me and she needs me to breath the air of whatever feeling she wants!”
My soul lost its umbrella and it’s kind of drunk and now it’s ringing the bell at the door and I know it’s Him.

“Open up!”
“Ok, sir! Where are you?”
“What do you mean? I am inside.”
“Inside where, sir?”
“Inside you and I `m so drunk! Please! Let me in or otherwise I’ll throw up”
“Well, wait for the ambulance, sir! It’s on its way!”
“What do you mean? Open up! You are nothing without me!”
“Sir, this is an emergency number, not a hotline. If you need a hotline, please dial 8989666. Good night, sir!”

My soul called the hotline and it was happy for a while but then it kept coming to my door and it kept screaming:

“You can’t do this to me! I am inside! Inside, do you hear me?”

But I didn’t care anymore cause my soul was dialing 8989666 and I was all right.
