GOTHIC DREAM


Blunt pencils of bleached colours
Are chaotically dancing on old sheets of paper,
Giving shape to thrilling wonders
Of uncertainty…

Fury is writhing within the mildness of the snow,
Bloody stains are intermingling with the innocence of inexistence
Generating the cruel silence of expectation…

Scattered broken paintings
Go back into the ocean
And I am now losing their trace irreversibly…

I am standing impassively on the shore
And watch the revolted, angry ocean
Swallow my ideals alive,
Break them to pieces
And then stick them to the Gothic portrait
Of what has now become
A lost dream…
