The blackbirds sing their passion as I sigh,
Dark clouds sway slow in a romantic minuet. I dared and took a glance, you took my breath. The sky is crying, rain is falling. So am I. I hear the mermaids calling from the shore Where we stand sinful. Sky is torn apart. I dared and stole your peace, you stole my heart. Rain’s running down your face. You run no more. Through orange peaceful dreams I find a spot Into the bashful olive green of your delight. We set our hearts to find forever in one night And while outside rain’s rushing, we are not. Who’d thought we’d find each other in the dew Through rusty leaves across the morning skies, Hidden in humid hazy mist from sneaky eyes. Rain’s pouring. So would they if they knew. We both surrendered breaking our chains free Into the hourglass of eternal lust Time’s not the essence anymore, it’s trust. The rain is over.Tell me, darling, how are we?
