You came back.
Your nose kissing the foggy windows Of my soul, staring in silence, departed home. Cranes fly high and above, for distant shores, for crusades Of savage memories. You always conquered by sea and by night, By pouring delight In cups of praying hands. You always came back, Swirling like a thought in a honeycomb, deep and pale. Your breath touches the glass in dimming episodes of life And death, imprinting your expiration of words In empty, eluding circles. A knock on the door of all winters Eyes, tall and relentless, searching the lofty silhouettes of dark, Hidden corners. Angel of light, You came back. You always come back, sweet sour dream.
