On a largely celebrated Thanksgiving day
pilgrims β I should say costumed citizens β were marching in the streets of a New England town. The parade was broadcast live on four television channels; fireworks of kisses, cut flowers, and smiles cracked crisscrossing sidewalks. When two hours later a small procession of surviving turkeys β I should say costumed Natives β took to the streets of the same town in New England, a local police squad came to contend the gobbling. (Reporters captured this on camera, as well) LIVE TURKEYS FETING THANKSGIVING?! How they managed to powwow, I have no clue.
