The meaning of āwhatās fairā has ended,
Now you donāt have any doubt Cause what others take for grantedā¦ You can only dream about. Maybe itās our human nature, For it makes us all forget That weāll always wish for more Always want what we canāt get It is said weāre all the same, That we all have the same rights But itās just a lie we claim, It can get us through the nights When we want something so bad, That we make of it our goalā¦ In our striving we turn mad And forget about our soul. Thatās why we linger on our hope, Only delaying our fall Thatās when we realize itās true That we will never have it all. So what we have itās not enough We always want a little more, A little bit, maybe a half Of what a lifetime we prayed for. But sometimes weāre forced to see, What we are wishing every day Someone just mocks and makes it be A worthless trash to throw away And then we turn in angry people, Driven by greed without our pride We tear the soul of the old cripple That long ago we locked inside. And so weāre lost inside this race, And if you ask, we canāt describe What had us lose the only trace Of what made worth all of our lives For what it seems itās not enough Weāre losing everything we care, We let hate speak in our behalf And so the sacred thing we tear.
