you have a sun-burnt shoulder
and the green scarf that has always reminded me of Morocco your silhouette - gently projected on the walls almost transparently like a shadow I could fall your heart into shape I could seed tulips between your lungs so as to change the course of your blood I could tie boats to your feet and let the water flow beneath your skin fascinatingly wildly inhumanly oh darling rise up your arms and take us far far away to the North your eyes are burning pulsating in hues of red like the dress of a flamenco dancer grow your hair longer and longer give a new lease of life to this universe let’s take a moment and dance under the night lamp it’s the Summer of our existence
