so I wished for nothing
and now I'm waiting for it to happen and the rain sometimes speaks/ like a sad song and I pretend it's you/ falling like broken glass in my arms it's one of those love tunes/ that they use to sell perfectly designed/ washing machines & other vital household items "it's the little things", you say and I laugh like a clean cut/ always politically correct/ in my chaotic ramble/ I tend to make this lie/ completely believable you always smile as you leave/ and I always smile back as only the dead do/ after years and years of trying
