Cantemir Senior Fellowships
What For: Research fellowships for 3 years (2011-2014). Eligibility: The applicant must be a senior lecturer or higher with a track record of at least two published monographs or five peer-reviewed articles over the past five years. Required Outcomes: The minimum outcome requirement is a monograph upon the completion of the fellowship. How to Apply: Please submit * A two page personal statement outlining your academic background, research interest and publications. * A three page research proposal including the project’s proposed outcomes * The completed application form Deadline: 1 May, 2011 Relevant Downloads: application/msword icon Senior Cantemir Fellowship Application Form Cantemir Junior Fellowships What For: The Berendel Foundation offers research fellowships for the academic year 2011/2012 (1 October to 31 July) towards research expenses (including travel, accommodation, and subsistence). The fellowship comes in the form of an award of up to £ 5’000, disbursed over two installments. Eligibility: The applicant must be a doctoral student registered for a PhD degree at a UK university. Required Outcomes: * A peer reviewed article acknowledging the BF’s contribution. * The presentation of a paper on the results of your research to graduate seminars in Oxford (the paper will be recorded and posted as a podcast on the BF website). The maximum award is for £ 2’000. Eligibility: The applicant must be at least an assistant professor or senior researcher at their respective university or institute. Required Outcomes: Acknowledging the BF in any publication(s) resulting from this research.
