His huge scale with everything it took: magnitude of the shuffling vertebration, infinitely-lurking hunger, mnemonic digestion.
The amphibian owned two suns: a wet one & a dry one. When the dry golden eye was wearing itself to a frazzle to chase and cruelly lay me down to the amphibian’s feet, I camouflaged, became one with the territorialization. Afterwards, the other wet eye was to quell my total immobility from the bottom of the water. Muddle-headed. This mud bathed me in alluvia of self-reproof for not enabling myself to stand in front of him, to exterminate him in a sensitive spot. Surprisingly, this giant amphibian needed no overexertion to find me everywhere. Not lowering himself. He only charted spaces to track me. Soon, countersecurity. I empathized with him, for this harrowing, senior predatorship. If he were smaller he could exercise his military discernment. I close my eyes, exhausted. Come what may. This amphibianzilla doesn’t seem proud to grab a kamikaze. Sunday’s amphibianzilla was more ferocious: I let him devour me only because his hunger had been more sublime than my last life. I hadn’t thought that if I tamed my perception about amphibians they wouldn’t hunt me any more.
