Surveillence is a form of art and nevertheless a form of power.
The false imprisonment one feels can gradually destroy the confidence towards the others, towards oneself. And so, retracing the footsteps of the victim might appear as an appealing challenge. And it is. Fully observing the victim’s actions gives a sense of empowerment and control. Knowing every step, every person, seeing everything through the victim’s eyes is a form of self-abandonment in the end. You don’t belong to yourself anymore, your body becomes an accesory to the tempting game of living. Mischievous mind, I dare you to create new scenarios over and over again! Nothing seems right this time, nothing suits the pattern as it should. It was too easy before, you’ve grown, your ability to deceive the deceiver has improved over the years. Play your part and play it well! There is no exit door. There is no safety spot. Play the game. Misjudging is failure. Abandonment is death.
