heart beats at wireless windows
ancient loneliness as the steam train whistling sounds in the summer in Istanbul disappears from view when no one is looking higher and more persistent sounds of your heart than mine is it a child’s toy whipping the air? willing to race at the speed of the sun at night, your double-time blows increase on the eve of your breath mine slows down even though sleep takes us closer to death as life allows when united in the dark I see the separate course of our lives your heart will continue to clatter when mine is covered with snow search, snow, tracks overnight screams in the south east London. ©Günsel Djemal 04.08.2011
