The food was cooked and the table set

Amazing!
Slava arrives and there are big hello’s all around
He has been visiting with Boris
There are stories to hear of the travels
Videos to watch from Russia, Europe and Japan.
We sit to eat and talk
Everything went well
We started to drink and celebrate the success
Everyone talking at once a hundred questions
Some of my friends have never herd Boris play
So we started watching the videos from the performances
Still amazing and then Slava turned the TV off
And Slave started to sing.
The room grows quiet
All of my friends know Slava but not all of my friends have herd him sing
One of my friends ask “whose CD is that, and I smile,
He can not see Slava at the piano in the corner of the living room
The guests started to arrive at 7pm and by 2am were sitting at the table
Were does the time go when there is so much love between friends.
The dinner was only for 12 close friends and this was our last dinner together
Until we visited as we were leaving the country to move to Romania.
Now after three years we are moving to the UK.
The next day I received calls wanting to have another party before we left Tel Aviv.
This year the party is in London and Slava has just recorded his next DVD
But this party I am not hosting.
