I don't think of this
as solitary confinement,
more like one-on-none

Simply getting in touch
with the person I see
reflecting back at me

Coming to know who I
really am, all walls
torn down

Getting a grip on reality,
taking all things in stride;
believing that I matter,
bringing to surface
my dignity and pride

Breathe in, breathe out
relax and merely "be"
for there really is no doubt
I am just "me," being "me"
