More than happy I would be
If I could leave this way!’’

Gone, everything is gone
For I ‘m no longer strong
with my ideal, hope and expectation
Career, devotion, and happiness,
All of a sudden that become
what I could never long.
Ah, why is so?
How could I know!
Perhaps, in predicament I was born,
Fated to suffer a misfortune,
While I’m still young.
Who to blame,
God or Lord?
Is that ridiculous and wrong!
Could the reason then where be found?
Is it because that I ‘m too weak to stand,
The misery for that my destiny be bound.
No, no, no!
It would never be so that I longed.

Since you, my beloved Dad, were gone,
The heart and the soul have left me alone.
From then on,
My life is so miserable so lonely,
That I could only sigh and moan.
The loved abandoned me that way
I fear,
So does a contagion make me suffer.

Dad, my dad, in paradise you are!
Never you know me as your son,
To be in a bind,
That is so sure and so hard.
How I wish and how I long!
To drop you a line as I did whenever I wanted
To make clean breast of my distress and thorns.
But shame, what a shame!
The great cause is there that I could not do,
The words deep inside fail me ,
Though they might be so good.
The world could never be like that
So wretched and so cold.

,
Remember and always do remember,
A man as I am,
With flesh and bones,
Is not peculiar or unknown.
Why not have my own life and road?

In near future,
Of a pestilence as I might die,
Harder I work and harder I must try,
To make a little contribution at an early date.
No more should I await
To strive forward for a new life,
As I do treat.
To help others as much
As I could weight.
All my anxieties be abated this day
More than happy I would be
If I could leave this way!’’
