I have come to the sea
A pretty foggy day Characteristic to this town Is it autumn or is it spring It’s not really cold But I’m still sorry I didn’t take my gloves Why did I come here Was it to remember Or to forget Did I come here to let go Or something to collect Do I want to find Or rather to be lost All these promises unkept… Two men jogging passing by They want to have nice asses To make an impression on girls The colour of the colours For this town is – grey Sea-gulls swim and fly Tell me, tell me, why… I’m trying to write this down, My fingers are stiff Why didn’t I take my gloves You said you found skis here A pair of skis on the sand In July!!! Maybe I came looking for these Or to read those words That you wrote on the sand They’ve all been erased by now By the wind and the sea Not a single mark left Except for this inside of me I don’t feel my body Except for the freezing hands Is it perfect calmness Or am I leaving me Separated from happiness By a missing pair of gloves And you… I want away from here I want inside of me…
