On the verge of a nervous breakdown
I stay awake all day and night, Insomnia takes me over There's a hunger which kills me inside. On the verge of a nervous breakdown I climb the stairs towards my heavenly father, With a tear in her eyes a woman starts to shout My hands dig into dirt to cover my mouth. On the verge of a nervous breakdown We all start to think of death just like hungry babies stretching their hands to their mother's breasts ask to drink the milk of a fake eternity bless. Too long awake as I walk between these walls, Too long thinking of meanings of life as it goes I hear myself fainting inside, I'm a woman in her thirties on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
