The ancients told him to stay,
For where he was going Lied hate and betray, He stood at the gate, Thought about their words As his last battle, Foretold by the gods, Was about to begin With a raging spin. The summer was ending, The fall would come soon, As the path was clearing For this poor maroon. He walked through old ruins And saw ancient seas Spared of hard battles Immune to their disease. At the end of the journey, He reached an ancient top A dragon's cave lied before him And a veil of brimstone Upon this ancient rock. Prepared for a battle He slowly walked in, A shield to guard his body, And faith from within. For here Azgalar King of all dragons Awakened from a dream Of a time that was far. -What do you seek? Asked the old dragon, Awakened by the heart-beats. -Who are you knave? Said the old dragon, Echoing through the cave. Our hero stood still, Our hero stood brave... -I need your power.. -As they all do, But then there's more I feel it in you. -I seek to save them, Them taken away. Ensnared by pure evil When was yesterday. Bones and shivers felt through the cave And evil and laughter They scared any knave. But he stood silent And he stood still As the dragon was speaking, With silence he fill... A powerful rumble, A hideous boom, A dragon's claw swinging, Was it he’s doom? From the bones of a soldier, The monster took an armor And put it on this hero As his limbs grew number. A burden of ages He would soon find As both of them grew weaker Preparing for what was to come. Our hero felt like a stone But quickly he rose, Dropping his rusted shield, Loosing his tremor sword. -I'll give you my power As I will soon die, Go kill my entrappers, Tell them of I. An ancient flame blew The monster's last breath, Straight at our hero, To make him the best. The rusty old armor, Melting like snow. And as the flame grew stronger, So did our hero grow. The dragon died before him, And screamed of death and pain, To ash he turned by magic, Some day to rise again!
