It’s night, but it always is.
Darkness covers now my eyes, This dark shroud it keeps me I live in it and it feeds on me. If I could, I’d break these chains And escape into the world, See green tree and flight of birds, Feel the light and truth inside. But alone I stand, There’s no hope for me, And there never was. This dark shroud, it keeps me! It won’t let me think, It won’t let me see! But why? What is this desire? What is it I seek? Is it love, is it the truth, Or is it freedom? It burns inside like a flame… And this flame is growing weak. Even it cannot withstand The will of death, the will of darkness The will of me… When I pass through A human village, I sense fear and hate in them, Along with my undead army, Half the world we ate. See I can’t, all I see is black, Everyone’s a shadow, A shadow in the dark. This dark shroud it keeps me… What is this shadow? Who is she? I must see her, I must see! And now it breaks, She is gone, but now I see! What have I done? What have I become? Death and evil? This is not my quest, This is not my way… With these hands I break my chains, With my soul one I become You dark-evil now be gone! With these hand I crush and kill So the dead will now stay dead, And evil will reign no more What I’ve done I must undo So that life shall be. From now be born in me!
