Lay quiet and heed the voices
Those of which speak of roses
A beauty with thorns and smell divine
It sometimes resembles thy

Staring at the lonely sun
He who wanders where the moon has gone
Imprisoned to light the sky, he only meets his queen at dawn
Where they're love is seen by none

The crystal lake, mirror of mountains
Hide the spiritual scribes of gods above
That tell about the times
When you were just a dove

From atop the branch, in elfen runes, thy story evolves
Whilst at the roots mine slowly burns out

Before I go, I seek your smile
I hope to see it just a while
Then I can leave with the taught
Of the peace for which I fought...
