It is from here lass
that the soul of our fathers grew fast upon the land held us forever to its bounty Dressed our world in play, established here forever The song of the Gael to land, to the sea Drifted our spirits to its vibrant air Till our breath became its song. My love, such is the way that heart to Gaelic heart does stand for none save us truly understands Knows the solitude that a soul must endure the life that fills us so, to joy. to pain grasps us deeply upon the knowing that none can know us true save ourselves that we love with all that we are want no more than life's vibrancy that here in the song that bellows and cries we shed our tears for love kiss our soil for truth and understand that what we are was destined as true as time had began and brought forth the spirit of our land that we in each others eyes behold The generations of the Gael. Alisdaire O'Caoimph
