dreams melt into one another
like chocolate squares
on top of a hot pudding
they grab my frustrations
and fantasies
and turn them into
perfect circles
then a hula hoop
mind dance begins
centrifugating reason
off the chess board
real kings and queens
step on to watch me
chasing black kittens
or white rabbits
I never catch them
